FAQ

Sauna Information

  • What should I bring?

Please bring your own swimsuit, sandals, and towel. Rentals are available for a fee of 500 yen each.

  • Can beginners use the sauna?

Absolutely! We offer detailed instructions on how to use the sauna, even for beginners. For example, a recommended cycle is 10 minutes in the sauna, 1 minute in the cold plunge, 10 minutes in the outdoor area, and then rehydrate. Repeating this cycle 3 times is effective.

  • Can I use the sauna on rainy days?

Yes, we set up a tarp to create an outdoor area even on rainy days, allowing you to enjoy the experience comfortably. However, we may be forced to close in case of heavy rain or flooding of the Itadori River. In case of cancellation, we will notify you via our official LINE account. If we do not have your LINE information, we will contact you by email.

  • What is “Takaga no Shinsui”?

It’s a natural mineral water that we provide free of charge. It comes from the Takaga Shinsui-an in the Todoh district of Gifu Prefecture and is very popular locally.

  • Can I use the facility if there are more people than the maximum capacity?

No, for safety reasons, we cannot accommodate more people than the maximum capacity. Please reserve a tent sauna that matches the number of people in your group. For example, for 6 people, you will need to reserve two slots: Sauna 1 at 10:30 AM and Sauna 3 at 11:00 AM. Please note that there is a rotation system, so you must start and finish at the scheduled times.
